Scotsman Point is a unique conference and
retreat setting with warm, friendly service and
exceptional package rates.  The environment at
Scotsman Point is special: the natural beauty of
Buckhorn Lake stretches off into distance while
fine old trees cast plenty of shade on our
well-kept grounds. The atmosphere is informal
and relaxed, so you can have the peace of mind
you need to think, to plan, to learn or just
rejuvenate!
We are dedicated to providing the support you
need to make your meeting successful in every
aspect. With a family tradition that spans three
generations, we're proud of the warm, friendly
feeling at Scotsman Point, and we genuinely care
about the quality of your total experience while
you're here. Our newly renovated meeting
facilities, at the water's edge, are bright and
airy with comfortable seating for up to 20
people. Some audiovisual equipment is included.
Meeting rooms have individual heating/air
conditioning controls, or you can just open the
large windows to let in fresh breezes off the
lake.
Guest accommodations are in clean,
well-maintained waterfront cottages, warmly
decorated with natural pine furnishings. All
cottages have electric heat, private bedrooms
and great views! Many groups comment on the
team-building benefits of sharing a cottage and
getting to know one another better. Breakfast,
lunch, dinner and refreshment breaks are
carefully planned to meet your group's needs and
schedule. Delicious home-cooked meals and
freshly baked desserts are served in our
lakeside tearoom.

Floatplane rides can be arranged and an
excellent neighboring 18-hole golf course is
just 200 yards from your meeting room door! The
Buckhorn area has is a flourishing artistic and
Native cultural center and is home to many
world-renowned wildlife artists. We can arrange
informal discussions with artists and Ojibwa
leaders during your stay, to share their work
and rich cultural perspectives.
