Buckhorn Community Centre
The Buckhorn Community Centre is located 30 km north
of Peterborough in the scenic Kawarthas region. We
offer a wide range of options for events such as trade
shows, conferences, receptions, and tournaments. In
a park-like setting on 10 acres, Buckhorn Community
Centre has hosted everything from family reunions
to company picnics. With ample room for a large event
to a more intimate setting, we can meet most any need.
Buckhorn Community Centre is a non-profit,
charitable organization, not owned by the
township or county. The centre was built over 25 years ago with a grant from Wintario and a
lot of sweat equity from volunteers. Originally,
a multi-purpose gymnasium with a kitchen and
small meeting room was built but we outgrew the
original building. In 1994, a banquet room was
added with new offices, a large modern kitchen
and a small meeting room. Our two large rooms
can be used separately or be opened into one.
Buckhorn Community Centre is one of the largest event
facilities available in the heart of the Kawarthas.
We are home to the renowned Buckhorn Fine Art Festival,
two large craft shows as well as a "Fine Wine
and Cuisine Show". We can make your event one
to remember.
